Mom loves her Holiday Ruffle Hat. We are at Jan's or the Thanksgiving holiday in 2023. Turkey is almost gone and we are passing the time doing puzzles and crocheting. I'm enjoying the time with family and yarn.

Shadow Afghan for Jen & Mike
This project was for my niece and her beau. The last time they came to visit we found a huge frog in the swimming pool which we named Kermit. Anyway, Kermit turned into a major project with pictures and a rescue mission to return him to his home before the chemicals in the pool killed him. I wish I had a picture, but we had a computer crash problem and all was lost.
The pattern was really easy and works up thick and lush. I will do this pattern again. You can find it at http://www.coatsandclark.com/Crafts/Crochet/Projects/AfghansThrows/LW1388+Shadow+Box+Throw.htm
Kermit was a breeze and was a lot easier than it looks. http://strngbn.tripod.com/frog.html

Boobie and his date.
Meet my pal Boobie and his new girlfriend. She doesnt have a name because I couldnt think of one for her.. feel free to suggest something. Boobie is very hot, but his date appears to be a golddigger.
Boobie's woman needs a name. If i had to start a poll i would suggest:
A - Hoochie Momma
B - Girlfriend
C - Boobette

My First Attempts at a Purse
I finally found a purpose for eyelash yarn. I Have tried it on several thing and never found anything that is worth the trouble of working with it.. what a disaster yarn. BUT, for this project it worked just fine. I have a hard copy of this pattern that I found online, but I can't find the original post. I will continue to look .
This little wristlet is perfect for a small wallet and some gum. I made it for my daughter and my mom lined it with dark blue silk. My daughter loves it.
It worked up really quickly and the pattern was perfect and easy to read. You can find the pattern here:
